About this station (planned)
The golden era, sixties to eighties, playing without a break.
Sukh Retro is built for the era when a song arrived with a full orchestra behind it. Expect live string sections, harmonium and tabla, brass stabs from the cabaret numbers, and the deep analogue hiss of tape. It is film music from the sixties through the eighties, sequenced by mood rather than decade, so a ballad can sit next to a dancefloor number.
Part of the Sukh Radio family
Sukh Retro is one of the Sukh Radio family of online stations, each with a site of its own. Its stream is starting soon. Until it starts, this page shows a clear notice instead of a player. Every station and language is listed at sukhradio.com.
